Peace Quote of the Day

1268405_10151824278546118_1468641813_o

We have the power to promote peace everyday by what we say, always speak true words, it's as simple as asking someone, "How can I help you?".
We can help bring peace to someone who is having a bad day, so before we speak out of anger, spitefulness, lets remember to be mindful of our words.

Peace day by day...

This week here at the MKC, the students prepare for the peace march on Friday. Each day during reflection we will be sharing some inspiring peace quotes....

For today: "You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist" - Mahatma Gandhi
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi

Ten Rules For Changing the world:

1. Change yourself.
2. You are in control.
3. Forgive and let it go.
4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.
5. Take care of this moment.
6. Everyone is human.
7. Persist.
8. See the good in people and help them.
9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.
10. Continue to grow and evolve.

How will you change the world?

Photo: Let's remember to always have peace in our hearts.

"You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist"
"You must be the change you want to see in the world"
-Mahatma Gandhi

What do these quotes mean to you?
