Yesterday, April 8th, 2014 was the Illinois Network of Charter Schools Rally Day at the state capital.
Since our MKC teens are Charter School [scholars] this is an issue that greatly affects them. So, we packed up and headed to Springfield! The teen leaders wrote notes to representatives, presented them, and made sure the governor heard their concerns via written notes.
We are proud of their advocacy, professionalism, and willingness to stand up for what they believe is important.
You did a great job!!!
